Ntwine

Terminals

Open a shell right where a thread's agent is working.

Press t on a thread, or choose Open terminal from its ⋯ menu, and Ntwine opens a shell in the folder that thread's agent is working in. If the agent made a worktree, that's where you'll be.

If you just want to run one command, start a prompt with $:

$ npm test

The terminal belongs to that thread:

  • It shows on the thread's card and in its drawer, next to the agent's own background shells.
  • Once a command finishes, you can run the next one in the same terminal.
  • It stops when you mark the thread done.

If a thread has a lot of terminals, the older ones fold away.

Would you rather use a terminal of your own? Press y to copy the command that resumes the thread's session there.
