SSH port forwarding
One session, nothing exposed, no setup at all.
ssh -L 9393:127.0.0.1:9393 you@your-machineThen open http://127.0.0.1:9393 on the client. The forwarded port is loopback on both ends, so Ntwine treats it as local. There's no public origin to declare and no sign-in link to redeem.
Nothing is exposed to the internet. The catch is that the forward only lives as long as the SSH session, which makes it awkward from a phone. For that, we'd recommend a name on ntwine.app or Tailscale.
Minting a link over the same connection
If you'd rather reach the board by a real hostname later, a headless machine can hand you a single-use code over the same SSH connection:
ssh you@your-machine 'npx ntwine --link'
